The village of Gambuk, Bali in Indonesia is known as a remote village in the middle of Bali Island, which has the potential for a river flow, with a waterfall of approximately 18 m. The implementation of the Micro-hydro research in 2010 are still being used with all the existing limitations, such as pipe disruptions (garbage blockage), fragile fan belts (often slip and break quickly), high water discharge, less electrical efficiency, rotation unstableness, as well as rainy season operation only. In order to overcome these operational problems, the micro-hydro design needs to be revitalized, with the aim of increasing the efficiency in water use, as well as allowing the device to be operated for a longer time, especially in the dry season. Before revitalization, these results obtained a ratio of RPM losses, between the calculation and measurement from stage I to IV. Furthermore, errors were observed at 5.06, 18,48%, 9.04% and -35%. However, when added, the total error from pulley P1 to P8 is 29.45%. These results showed an increase because, in stage IV, a flywheel was installed, which greatly affects the stability of the RPM generator. This was due to the working inertia moment, which caused smaller losses. Therefore, the micro-hydro pulley is now reportedly operated with the same electrical load, via the utilization of a 4-inch pipe and an output power of 750 VA, which had been increased from the previous 600 VA. © 2025 IEEE.
