Abstract

An edible cup is a tableware item manufactured from food elements that are safe for human consumption. Designing the machine is the first thing that must be done before building it. A design analysis is required throughout the creation of this edible cup machine to ensure that the final product is both high-quality and compliant with requirements. In this paper, the design analysis of the edible cup-in machine uses Finite Element Analysis (FEA). FEA will be evaluated by analyzing the strength of the machine according to the mechanical properties. Analysis design will be focuses on analysis deformation, stress, and strain. The results of the design analysis obtained using ANSYS software with a static structural method, frame has the max deformation value 0.016 mm, the max strain 0,00004, max stress 1.87MPa. In the Punch Male, max deformation 0,00001 mm, max strain 0,0000003, max stress 0.06MPa. In the Punch Female, max deformation 0,00001 mm, max 0,0000006 and max stress 0.09MPa. © 2025 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
