Abstract

Supply Chain (SC) plays a very important role in an Internet-of-Things (IoT)-based smart ecosystem. It gives warranty that the right products from such ecosystem can be tagged with the right price, received by the right customers at the right time by using the right deliverer. In this research, we did a preliminary study in finding factors for optimizing the supply chain for hydroponic smart ecosystem especially vegetables demand and supply. From our study, we found that those factors are timeliness and correctness. Therefore, we propose a new concept called as IoTSC that has a good prospect to optimize SC in our hydroponic smart ecosystem. © 2021 IEEE.
