Abstract

Android application programming has become one of the most important subjects that students should learn in professional schools and universities in IT departments. To provide a self-learning platform for the Android programming course, we developed an Android Programming Learning Assistance System (APLAS) the learning materials in APLAS consist of four stages where each stage has several topics. In this paper, we implement Multiple Activities materials for learning Intent and Fragment as the third topic in the Interactive Application stage and evaluate them through applications to 50 university students in an IT department in Indonesia the results show that all the students correctly solved the assignments and gave positive comments on them, which confirmed the effectiveness of our proposal. © 2021 IEEE.
